Look out for the information booth of the Orchestra and Band during Orientation Week and sign up there.

Or simply turn up at the Band’s first rehearsal for the Session (whether in March or July).

Band rehearsals are held every Tuesday during the teaching weeks of Session, from 4 to 6 pm, in the Clancy Auditorium on campus (see grid point C24 on this map). Occasionally rehearsals are held elsewhere on campus.

Places in the Wind Band are non-competitive and there are no auditions. If you feel you may not be up to standard on your instrument, discuss this with the conductor at a rehearsal.
