Whether or not you play in the Orchestra or the Wind Band (known collectively as the LIME – Large Instrumental Music Ensembles), or attend our concerts, you are warmly invited to support our operations financially.

The UNSW Foundation has established an account to receive donations from the public specifically in support of the LIME. All contributions to this account are tax deductible for the donor.

Expenditure of all major funding for the LIME, and, in particular, all donations via the UNSW Foundation, is audited as part of the University’s formal accountability procedures.

If you would like to make a donation in support of the LIME, please download the donation form , fill it out and mail it together with your cheque or credit card details to the address on the form. The UNSW Foundation will officially receipt your donation without delay.

We take this opportunity to publicly thank our past institutional and personal donors, whose generosity has helped the LIME to survive the introduction of Voluntary Student Unionism from mid-2006, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Orchestra in 2009, and to plan for a future that includes the 20th anniversary of the Wind Band in 2011.

We thank, in particular, Arc@UNSW, the University’s student activities and services organisation, which has made regular grants to each ensemble as part of that organisation’s commitment to enhancing the student experience at UNSW.

And we record our deep gratitude to the U Committee at UNSW which has made repeated project-specific donations towards our operations for many years. They have been our mainstay on many occasions.
